Orders
What do I need to order?

Before you order, you’ll need to know your eyeglasses prescription (make sure you're not using contacts' prescription to order eyeglasses - it's slightly different) and your pupillary distance (PD). Your PD is the distance in millimeters between your pupils, and helps us center your prescription correctly in your frames.

What if I need to change my order?

We process orders quickly, but we will do our best to accommodate any changes to your order. The best way to change or cancel an order is to email us at hello@madeeyewear.com.

What’s the status of my order?

You can check the status of your order by logging in to your account and navigating to "My Orders" section. If you have questions and concerns, don't hesitate to give us a shout at hello@madeeyewear.com!

How do I order multiple pairs of glasses with different prescriptions?

If you are interested in purchasing multiple pairs using different prescriptions (e.g. one for you and one for your spouse; one pair for distance and one for reading), please apply appropriate prescription details on each eyewear. This way, you will save on a shipping fee as it is a flat rate per order!

Prescriptions
How do I submit my prescription?

Use our online prescription form to complete your prescription details. You can also upload your prescription using the upload feature on the prescription page. Lastly, you can send an image or scan of your prescription to us via email.

We’ll also need your pupillary distance (PD).

Your PD is the distance in millimeters between your pupils, and it helps us center your prescription correctly in your frames. If your doctor did not include this measurement with your prescription, most optical shops will measure your PD for a small fee.

How do I get my prescription?

Make an appointment with your local optometrist. Be sure to ask your doctor to include your pupillary distance (PD) on your prescription!

What is the difference between single-vision and progressive lenses?

Single-vision lenses offer one correction throughout the entire lens (usually for distance or reading). Progressive lenses offer multiple focal corrections in one lens, providing a seamless transition from distance correction on top to reading correction on bottom. This means you can see your whole field of vision without switching between multiple pairs of glasses.

Can you make lenses with a prism correction?

Yes! Pricing is based on your specific prescription values, as well as the type of lenses you choose to purchase. We’re happy to help you figure out the best lenses for you based on your prescription strength. Send us a request at hello@madeeyewear.com and we will be happy to help.

What’s the best way to clean my lenses?

For day-to-day cleaning of light smudges, a few swipes of the cleaning cloth included in your case should do the trick.

Insurance & payment
Do you accept insurance as payment for my eyeglasses?

We don’t deal with insurance providers directly, but you can request a receipt for your use when applying for reimbursement. All prescription glasses are eligible for insurance claims. Please check with your insurance provider for more information.

How do I get a receipt?

A receipt will be attached to your shipping confirmation email and included with your purchase! If you need another copy, email us at hello@madeeyewear.com.
